3 Easy Ideas for a Homemade Valentines Day

Do you celebrate love and romance on Valentine’s Day?

We do! But we don’t feel the need to spend a bunch of money to do it. Just finding little ways to show our love and affection makes it a fun day to celebrate, without the pressure of lavish gifts or last-minute trips to the store. So whether you celebrate love on this day or every day, here are some of our easy, eco-friendlier and healthier ideas for celebrating love with your loved one during February, the Month of Romance and Heart Health.

3 Easy Ways to Celebrate a Homemade and Eco-Friendly Valentine’s Day:

2) Put a cute or clever handwritten note or other lovie in your kids’ or spouse’s lunch box.

Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to make heart-shaped pieces of melon, apples cantaloupe, pancakes, sandwiches, or even your organic veggies, free range chicken, grassfed beef or sustainable fish main course at dinner!
